If you feel like spending a half day closer to the nature, you should choose our tour to the Mogosoaia Palace and the Snagov Monastery that will send you back in time and tell stories about princes and hidden treasures.
There is little to announce the grandeur of the Mogosoaia Palace once you exit Bucharest. But at a 30 minute drive from city center you will discover one true palace with spectacular gardens, a great lake view and beautiful alleys. The atmosphere is completed by the quietness of this place that silently whispers the story of Constantin Brancoveanu, Prince of Wallachia who build the palace between 1698 and 1702. You will feel a little bit like in Venice but with a strong influence of Oriental style.
Not far from here is our next stop where you will discover the legend of the famous Dracula. The Snagov Monastery stands on an island in the middle of the Snagov Lake. It is believed that here is the tomb of Vlad the Impaler who inspired Bram Stoker in writing the most famous vampire story of Dracula.
Beyond the legends, you will enjoy the beautiful monastery with impressive wall paintings, considered one of the most important religious monuments in Southern Romania. You will be no less impressed by the great quietness and fresh air.
